OVERVIEW
Designed by Populous, the 28-hectare sports precinct is built on the site of the former Kai Tak Airport. The park features a 50,000-seat Main Stadium with a retractable roof and a "Pearl of the Orient" facade, and more.The project has been named a 2026 ULI Asia Pacific Award winner and is pursuing BEAM Plus Platinum and LEED Gold certifications.
IMPACT
The project utilized GreenTech's Gypsum Block Walling System (1110, 1115) and GA-90 Gypsum Adhesive. The GA-90, with its high adhesive and compressive strength, was key to maintaining the stability and fire integrity of the dense, water-repellent gypsum block walls, providing a durable and safe internal structure that withstands the high demands of a major sports and entertainment precinct.
