OVERVIEW
The Treasury Building is a 22-storey government office development designed by Wong Tung & Partners. It accommodates the Treasury Department and over ten other government bureaux and departments. The architectural design achieved the Grand Award in the New Building category at the HKIE BSD Excellent Building Award 2023 and won the 2023 World Design Awards in the Public Building Built category.
IMPACT
We provided the Gypsum Block Walling System (1110, 1115), installed with GA-90 for a fire-resistant structure. The walls were treated with PMS-11, which acts as a barrier against moisture and promotes bonding, ensuring a stable, high-quality surface for the professional interior finishes of a government headquarters. Our solutions ensures long-term reliability for facilities that serve both government operations and the local community.
