OVERVIEW
Designed by Wong & Ouyang, Tech Landmark is a complex of four towers of new research space for the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Science at the University of Hong Kong. The project will house 10 institutes dedicated to emerging fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, smart materials, quantum science, and biomedical engineering.
IMPACT
GreenTech Building Materials provided its high-performance Gypsum Block Walling System (1110, 1115), installed with GA-90 to ensure strong, fire-resistant internal partitions of this cutting-edge research facility. The 1115 blocks offered excellent fire resistance and structural integrity suited to the demanding laboratory and data centre environments.
