OVERVIEW
Designed by AD+RG, the facility is for the School of Public Health, School of Chinese Medicine, and School of Nursing. The building has achieved a Provisional Platinum rating under BEAM Plus and is a key component of HKU's long-term strategy to transform the Sassoon Road area into a contiguous, state-of-the-science medical campus .
IMPACT
GreenTech Building Materials provided its high-performance Gypsum Block Walling System (1110), installed with GA-90 Gypsum Adhesive to ensure strong, fire-resistant internal partitions. This material system was ideally suited to the demanding academic and research environment, where durability, acoustic insulation, and fire safety are essential across the laboratories and learning commons.
