OVERVIEW
Designed by Archiplus, the Joint-User Complex at Texaco Road is a 3-storey community facility located at the junction of Texaco Road and Wing Shun Street in Tsuen Wan. The complex provides a community hall, child care centre, and a neighbourhood elderly centre sub-base, serving the growing needs of Tsuen Wan's population of around 311,000.
IMPACT
GreenTech Building Materials provided its high-performance Gypsum Block Walling System (1110), installed with GA-90 to ensure strong, fire-resistant internal partitions. This material system was ideally suited to the demanding public environment, where durability, acoustic insulation, and fire safety are essential for the comfort and safety of all users across the complex.
