OVERVIEW
Designed by Andrew Lee King Fun & Associates, the GDS data centre is the company's first self-built and self-operated facility in Hong Kong, known as HK1. The project has achieved LEED Gold and BEAM Plus certifications, aligning with GDS's vision for sustainable development and carbon neutrality goals by 2030.
IMPACT
GreenTech Building Materials provided its high-performance Gypsum Block Walling System (1110, 1115), installed with GA-90 to ensure strong, fire-resistant masonry joints for the internal partitions of this critical digital infrastructure. The 1115 blocks offered excellent structural integrity suited to the demanding data centre environment
