OVERVIEW
Designed by Ma & Fong Architects and constructed by Chong Chi Construction Company Limited for Eton Properties, the hotel underwent a major renovation in 2020 and sits at the junction of Wan Chai's business district and Causeway Bay's shopping hub. The hotel was formerly known as the Charterhouse Hotel and remains a popular choice for travellers seeking value and convenience in this vibrant district
IMPACT
GreenTech Building Materials provided its high-performance Gypsum Block Walling System (1180), installed with GA-90 to ensure strong masonry joints for the internal partitions of this hotel renovation project. The 1180 blocks, with their larger format and high density, offered excellent acoustic insulation and fire resistance essential for the hotel's guest rooms and public areas, while the GA-90 adhesive ensured the integrity of the masonry system.
